Seawake Anglesey Boat Trips

Powerboat trips on our 6 and 8 person RIBs. Fully qualified very experienced RYA Powerboat Instructor. Our boats are powerful ribs with the latest generation 225 hp Evinrude engines. Our boats are coded to category 4 by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, this means they meet strict safety requirements.

Our skippers are very experienced and have been navigating our local waters for many years. We supply all life jackets and we do have waterproofs. We recommend warm clothing with a wind or waterproof as well.We depart from Dinorwic Marina, Felinheli (Port Dinorwic).

  1. The Castles - 2 hours
    £45 per adult, children £35

We depart Dinorwic Marina and cruise up to Beaumaris and the Castle that Edward 1st did not finish. Tide permitting we explore Port Penrhyn then sail underneath the Menai Suspension Bridge and Stevenson's Britannia Bridge, on past Nelson and the magnificent Plas Newydd down to Caernarfon. If the tide is high we can get right underneath the walls of this mighty castle.

  2. Llanddwyn Island Round Trip - 2 hours

Departing from Dinorwic Marina in Felinheli we bear left into the Menai Strait. We cruise past Plas Menai the National Watersports Centre for Wales, marvel at Caernarfon Castle then it's out into the Irish sea over Caernarfon Bar. We bear North East at the mussel buoy then it's on to Llanddwyn Island - craggy rock, wonderful beaches and perhaps a chance to glimpse some dolphins.

  3. Puffin Island Round Trip - 2 hours
    £45 per adult, children £35

Departing from Dinorwic Marina we cruise past Plas Newydd, the Marques of Anglesey's home (now owned by the National Trust) underneath Britannia Bridge, through the Swellies and underneath Menai Bridge, continuing along the Menai Strait past Beaumaris and then on to Puffin Island - inhabited by seals, puffins and many other sea birds.

    £20 per person

Operating from Menai Bridge and Beaumaris the Blast is a 50 minute power boat ride down the Menai Straits taking in the infamous Swellies – the ‘whirlpooled’ stretch of water between Thomas Telford’s Menai Suspension Bridge and Robert Stevenson’s Britannia Bridge, saluting Nelson before spinning round opposite the Marques of Anglesey’s mansion – Plas Newydd now owned by the National Trust.
