Saltire Marine Services benefits from over 20 years extensive experience within the marine industry. Familiar with all aspects of vessel operations and operate in accordance with current maritime regulations.
Staff carry out duties at all levels onboard MCA coded small commercial vessels (workboats, Pilot boats, tugs, mini-cruise and survey vessels) together with MCA certified passenger vessels.
This creates a sound understanding of all aspects of vessel operations, management and maintenance.
Experienced in operating single and twin screw, variable pitch, jet drives, Voith Schneider, Schottel (ASD), z-drive and outboard motor propulsion systems.
Located close to the River Clyde this provides us with easy access to the West Coast of Scotland’s waterways, in addition to main road transportation routes, International airports and UK Rail network.
We believe that good communication and quality training are fundamental to the success of any project and strive to keep clients fully informed of progress at all times.
